1 Soak the floral foam in water until saturated. Fit it into the container and tape it in place. When you’re working with a lot of flowers, you need a lot of foam—notice how it projects above the rim of the container by about 8 inches (20 cm). Begin by inserting the gladioli stems into the center of the foam. Now push the dracaena leaves into the foam on one side of the container and the leucodendron on the other. Position the stems at a downward angle, so they cover the top of the container.

2 Now add a cluster of spray rose stems both at the base of the arrangement and around the tall stems of gladioli on top.
